Hello, my name is Chris Schoellen and I love to create modern, interactive and user-centered web-experiences!
In 2017, I discovered my passion for media creation and I decided to pursuit a career in that direction. I completed many evening courses and since 2020, I’m working as a freelance Webdesigner.
I specialized in start-up businesses, but I also have the capacities to work on bigger scaled projects.
I already accomplished many projects across a variety of different media plattforms (print, web, social media, gaming, etc…)

Web-Design
The first topics, I learned were designing a websites by learning HTML & CSS. I was really excited by the clear and simple syntaxes and the fact that you can present your work relatively quickly. This led me to pursue further education in graphic design. I also learned about the web-design workflow, SEO and how to create screen-designs.
It is very important for me to create modern, interactive and user-centered websites!

Social Media
I'm already active on Social Media with my passion project PokéLand and decided to take courses in that area too. After the courses, I was given the opportunity to create content for many of Medienhaus's clients.
For now, I'm mainly looking to expand PokéLand 0's universe on Social Media and making the project more known through on- & offline methods.
Multimedia Design
During my school days, I already started out with doing smaller pixel arts.
And during the time, that I spend in university, I discovered my passion for media design. During evening courses, I learned to create websites, to create 2D animations, to edit photos and to cut videos.
Through my hobby project "PokéLand", I was able to gather knowledge in vigeogame developemnt and to extend my skills in multimedia design.
UI/UX Design & Research
I don't have to tell you that a user-centered and client-oriented website with a good usability is a must. I found these topics very interesting and I really like the works in this field, especially to visualize ideas.
I know the best practices of UI- and UX-Design as well as UX-Research and I'm implementing them on my website-projects as best as I can.
